What You Will Need For Your Wedding & Reception...
When it comes to entertainment, Given Take can take care of everything for you. We handle not only the reception, but also the wedding service if needed. Here are a few options that we offer...
Wedding Service Entertainment:
Trumpet with Piano (or Organ)- An elegant touch to any wedding. Often performing "Trumpet Voluntary" or "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring", the option of a Trumpet with Piano (or organ) is always a winner.
Vocalist w/ Guitar or Piano - Many brides and grooms desire to hear a favorite song performed during the ceremony, by a vocalist with piano or guitar. It is common to hear songs such as "I Will Be Here", or "God Bless The Broken Road" at these events.
String Ensemble- A 4-piece string ensemble or string ensemble with Harp is among the grandest of choices for a wedding day. With beautiful masterpieces such as Pachabel's "Canon In D" or "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring", the use of strings always adds to the ceremony.
Reception Entertainment:
Wedding Band w/ DJ: Given Take - Given Take has quickly become one of the most sought after Wedding/Party band's in the SouthEastern United States. In addition, Given Take is the only band available in the south east that provides a DJ during the breaks at no additional charge. Given Take is the PERFECT choice for your wedding!
Small Combo: G-Force is a 2-piece party band that is perfect for events on a smaller scale. Providing a big sound from a small group, G-Force is a great choice for events in a small venue or those on a tight budget.
Jazz Combo: Often, a Jazz Combo is desired for wedding receptions. These groups regularly feature Drums, Bass, Piano, Guitar, Saxophone, and Trumpet, with an optional vocalist. We can arrange this if needed.
Solo Jazz Pianist/Vocalist: At some receptions, only light background music is desired, in which a solo pianist/vocalist is the perfect touch for the event. We are happy to arrange this option if desired.
DJ: Some events are simply in need of a professional DJ. We offer the best around. With a song selection of over 59,000 songs, our DJ is the top pick for parties. (This dj is the one that travels with Given Take)
