Janice Given - Co-Choreographer/Costume Mistress

Janice is not only the mother of the group, but also the original choreographer for Given Take. Her 31 years of experiance teaching dance to thousands of children and adults throughout the Roanoke Rapids, NC area as well as South Side Virginia has given her the experiance to choreograph memorable numbers for Given Take such as "I Want You Back", "Blame It On The Boogie", and "The Motown Medley". She works closely with Kyle & Lauren to choreograph all of the musical numbers with choreography. The band truly wouldn't be here without her!

Shelly Given - Sound & Light Engineer

Shelly Given joined the Given family in December of 2004, when she married the band's musical director. Her musical background gave her a keen ear of what the band wanted in a sound engineer. She filled in when the band was in a pinch, and was quickly offered the job full-tme after doing an amazing job. Shelly spends a lot of time focusing on what the band desires, and the sound that they are looking for. In addition, Shelly is in her 3rd year of medical school at Brody School of Music at East Carolina University. Shelly is a brilliant woman, and a wonderful wife.

Janelle Given - Official Band Photographer/"Hidden Given" Wrangler

Janelle married Blaine Given in the Summer of 2002, and has been a #1 fan ever since. She has been at every show with the exception of 1, when she delivered Blaine & Janelle's first child, Lee, who is known as the "Hidden Given" as he performs a few numbers during the show when it is appropriate. She works with Lee getting him on the stage at the appropriate time, and off the stage when he is done. Janelle is a tremendous help to Given Take.

Lee Given - The "Hidden Given"

Lee is Blaine's oldest child, and is known as the "Hidden Given", as he performs a number each show that is appropriate with the band. At only 5 years old, Lee is a great entertainer performing "Burning Up" (Jonas Brothers) or "Hound Dog" (Elvis Presley), and is a very cute part of the show. Come see Lee perform.
Given Take Trivia - Lee is the reason that Chase wrote "Bootyshaker". Ask a member of the band about the story sometime!

Lauren Given - Merchandise Sales Associate/Stage Hand/
Co-Choreographer

Lauren joined the Given Family in December of 2007, after dating Kyle since 2004. Her dance background has been a great help to the band as she helps Kyle & Janice choreograph high-energy numbers for the band. In addition, she is a great help off the stage assisting the band with on-stage needs, show emergancies, as well as commonly filming the shows on an iFlip camera.
