Given Take Band Biography

Given Take is a High Energy Dance Band made up of four (4) brothers, their sister, and their father from Eastern North Carolina. Featuring outstanding lead vocals, six-part vocal harmonies, live musicians, and full choreography, with costume changes, Given Take is the perfect entertainment for Concerts, Festivals, Fairs, and Private Parties! Performing a perfect blend of Classic R&B/Motown, Current Top 40, Southern Soul, Classic Rock & Roll, Country, Carolina Beach Music, & even original music, Given Take satisfies even the most eclectic audience.
Originated in 1989 as “Boys Club”, Blaine, Chase, Kyle, Taylor, and Mark dazzled audiences at the North Carolina State Fair. With the addition of their baby sister Kerri, as well as 8 studio recordings, Given Take has now performed across the East Coast of the United States.
In 1992, Boys Club released its first recording, “Introducing Boys Club”. Following the introduction to these talented boys, “Meet Boys Club” was released in the summer of 1993. 1995 and 1996 saw the releases of “Born To Boogie” and Angels Among Us”. In 2001, with the addition of Kerri, Boys Club & A Babe released “5”. In 2002, the group released “Blame It On The Boogie”, featuring 5 original songs written by the brothers. In the spring of 2003, Boys Club & a Babe recorded “Keepin’ It Alive”, a charting CD with 2 top 10 singles, “Myrtle Beach”, and “Dancin’ & Shaggin”. That November, they had the opportunity to perform on stage at the Alabama Theatre in North Myrtle Beach at the Carolina Beach Music Awards performing “Myrtle Beach” for over 2000 beach music fans and industry peers. In December 2004, Boys Club & a Babe released “This Time of Year”, a Christmas CD filled with many Christmas favorites! Returning strong on the radio in 2007, Boys Club & a Babe released 2 charting singles, “Oh What A Night”, and “Just My Baby & Me”. These 2 singles are now released on a 5 song EP entitled “End of a Chapter”. In October 2008, Boys Club & a Babe retired there name and have become Given Take, a NEW EXCITING GROUP with more energy and excitment than ever!
